Recognized were Taylor Jane Black, Bruton High School; Garrison Cooper Greenwald, Tabb High School; and Joseph David O'Brien, York High School. Each recipient was awarded a certificate, recognition pin, and a check from the chapter. Joseph O'Brien's entry was forwarded by the chapter to the DAR district level contest.

The DAR Good Citizens Program and Scholarship Contest is intended to encourage and reward the qualities of good citizenship. The program is open to high school seniors. The student selected as the school's DAR Good Citizen must have the qualities of dependability, service, leadership and patriotism.
