Hosted by Lucy and Ramon Breeden at their home, Holly Point Farm on the North River, this fundraiser’s proceeds will go directly towards supporting the animals housed at the Gloucester- Matthews Humane Society.

GMRoast image2While enjoying unlimited oysters served three ways, guests will also enjoy wines from Naked Mountain Winery, sides, sweets, treats, beautiful river views, and music provided by the Virginia Symphony Orchestra. Additionally, attendees will have the option to purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win 4 tickets to the University of Virginia versus Virginia Tech game on November 23, 2018 (including parking). Proceeds from the money raised for the raffle will go towards supporting the GMHS Angel Fund, which pays for non-routine procedures needed for the homeless pets in their facility.

"They [Lucy and Ramon Breeden] share a passion for animals and GMHS is grateful they are opening their special home in support of our mission to be stewards of the precious life [of] Middle Peninsula pets,” stated GMHS Executive Director, Nichola Redmond.

In addition, Chesapeake Bank is providing sponsorship for the event.
